The Advertising Club Madras appoints Surej Salim as President for 2025–2026, signaling a new era of creative industry leadership, collaboration, and innovation in South India’s advertising community.
Surej Salim is the newly elected President of The Advertising Club Madras for the 2025–2026 term. This opens a new chapter in the club’s history as a center for advertising and marketing professionals in South India. Salim, Co-Founder and COO of Digitally Inspired Media, has almost 20 years of experience in the creative, digital, and business sectors. As Club Secretary, he has significantly enhanced the level of community collaboration and engagement, as well as the integration of collaboration synergy with circle peers.
This was announced during the club’s Annual General Meeting on October 24, during which club members remembered the ‘god of advertising’ in India, the late Piyush Pandey. The message of the meeting was, “the professionals in the sector shall be very mildly kept tuned to a season of their celebration which is rich in creativity, and comprehensive in learning and networking.”
With over seven decades of the club’s rich history to draw on, and against the backdrop of new, more positive, and organized energies in the advertising sector, Salim hopes to continue building and furthering the ties of collaboration and integration with industry circles, knowledge sharing, and the avenues where we can celebrate and showcase stellar industry work.
