
Gaunik Jeet Singh is appointed Head of Marketing at Knauf India. He will spearhead customer-focused campaigns and strategic brand expansion with his more than 17 years of experience.
Gaunik Jeet Singh as its new Head of Marketing, Knauf India has bolstered its leadership team. Singh brings a wealth of expertise in consumer engagement, brand strategy, and business growth from leading companies. Singh, who is well-known for his broad marketing knowledge, joins Knauf after a fruitful two and a half-year stint with Hero MotoCorp, where he was GM, Marketing – Corporate Brand and Scooters from January 2023 to June 2025.
Singh was instrumental at Hero MotoCorp in boosting the company’s reputation and spearheading targeted advertising campaigns for the scooter market. Customer-centricity, narrative, and a keen emphasis on digital integration characterized his campaigns. He played a key role in spearheading efforts to transform brands and match them with changing consumer preferences.
He was employed by Airtel from 2011 to 2015 earlier in his career. He assumed high-impact positions in the CEO’s strategic office there, managing Digital TV’s category marketing and helping with a number of crucial expansion initiatives. Singh also acquired useful early-career experience at GE Capital and DiGiSPICE Technologies, where he refined his abilities in consumer finance communication and data-driven product marketing.
Singh worked at AkzoNobel for almost eight years prior to Hero, holding a number of executive roles, such as Senior Brand Manager for Wall Paints and Category Marketing Head for Premium. His ability to start creative campaigns, reposition high-end product lines, and effectively guide brand evolution in a fiercely competitive paints market defined his time at AkzoNobel.
