Shah Rukh Khan lends his iconic voice to Netflix India’s 10-year anniversary film, celebrating a journey from Sacred Games to shared binge-watching rituals that reshaped Indian entertainment.
Netflix marked its 10th anniversary in India with a special commemorative film narrated by Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, launched on January 29, 2026. The heartfelt video traces the platform’s evolution since its 2016 entry, highlighting how it shifted Indian audiences from “What to watch on Netflix?” to collective “What shall we watch on Netflix?” queries that sparked nationwide conversations.
The montage features SRK’s signature baritone reminiscing over milestone content like Sacred Games, the gritty 2018 thriller that introduced streaming originals with Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It showcases regional hits including Delhi Crime’s raw investigations, Kota Factory’s coaching pressures, Jamtara’s cyber scams, Mismatched’s modern romance, Kohrra’s Punjabi mysteries, and The Railway Men honoring Bhopal survivors. Films spotlighted range from Raat Akeli Hai’s noir suspense to Ludo’s ensemble chaos, Bulbbul’s supernatural feminism, Darlings’ dark comedy, and Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga’s heist thrills.
