Former HUL executive Sindhuu Govindarajan takes on role as Vice President, Marketing at Tata Consumer Products’ Foods division, bringing extensive FMCG experience.
Sindhuu Govindarajan has made a move from Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) to serve as Vice President of Marketing at the Foods Division of Tata Consumer Products Limited (TCPL). While at HUL, she held the position of Brand Director for Surf Excel South Asia, where she was instrumental in developing the brand strategy and growth plan for one of Unilever’s largest euro billion businesses.
Sindhuu has over 10 years of work experience in other top FMCG’s companies and has gained considerable experience at Reckitt and Procter & Gamble in several senior positions relating to brand strategy, innovation, as well as marketing and business leadership. Sindhuu’s experience covers product innovation, integrated marketing communications and customer development programs in India as well as South Asia, Southeast Asia and Latin America.
Her new position will have her developing Tata Consumer Products marketing, and brand strategy for the Foods Division, and brand strategy as the company expands quickly in the Foods sector. Movement from one major FMCG company to another in the fast growing Indian consumer goods sector, underscores her commitment and passion for the industry.
Sindhuu’s leadership is expected to improve Tata Consumer Products’ market standing by spearheading innovation and consumer engagement with the company’s growing range of food items.
