NDTV posts 14% revenue growth in Q2 FY26 versus Q1, driven by content innovation, strategic consolidation, and expanded digital presence with new primetime shows and global summit impact.
According to NDTV, revenue for the quarter increased by 14% during the second quarter FY26 when compared to Q1 and showed an increase of 10% to the same quarter the year before. This marked improvement showcased the increased focus the company placed on innovation of its content, and the consolidation of its business. The company has focused on consolidation and innovation driven by content which has seen its consolidation within the market also improve. There were newly defined, and strategic, milestones that marked the quarter’s performance, such as the enhancement of editorial depth and audience engagement through the launching of primetime shows with anchors Padmaja Joshi, Syed Suhail, and Shubhankar Mishra.
From the operational business perspective, NDTV streamlined and simplified the company structure by folding four distinct business streaming entities into one. This also focused the company upon its core priorities. Furthermore, the increase of the company’s growth objectives was made possible by another company growth increase strategy termed, ‘a rights issue’. The company also hosted the NDTV World Summit in New Delhi to strengthens its global reach which, This was attended by global leaders, such as Indian Prime Minister Modi, Sri Lankan Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya, former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, and other global leaders and changemakers.
Even with the increased operational costs due to growth and transformation initiatives, NDTV remains well positioned to continue gaining momentum.
