Naveen Kumar, with 30+ years in automotive and manufacturing, named Group CEO of Dhoot Transmission, aiming to accelerate innovation and global expansion.
Dhoot Transmission Group has appointed Naveen Kumar as the Group Chief Executive Officer. Kumar has about 30 years of executive leadership experience in the automotive, manufacturing and technology sectors. He is acknowledged for his excellent business strategies, operational efficiency, and the capacity to cultivate notable global collaborations.
At present, Kumar will be accountable to Dhoot Transmission’s Founder and Managing Director, Rahul Dhoot. Kumar has also held the position of Group CEO of Napino Auto & Electronics, where he was commended for his work in improving revenue and operational efficiency, establishing a focused research and development facility, and forming strategic collaborative partnerships with major players in the global automotive market, Continental AG, and ZF TRW.
Kumar earned a Mechanical Engineering Degree from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education and a Senior Management Program certificate from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. As the company expands innovation, Kumar’s hiring is expected to strengthen Dhoot Transmission’s leadership and competitive, global market presence. Dhoot Transmission began diversification in the automotive industry in 1999, and has been a principal manufacturer of wiring and automotive switches.
