Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest two-wheeler maker, has appointed Shivalika Chadha Malik as Head of Communications – External and Internal, responsible for corporate, brand, crisis, and internal strategies across India and global markets. Announcing on LinkedIn, Malik highlighted the brand’s purpose, scale, and transformative phase, eager to craft stories of trust, values, and impact with Latika Taneja’s team.
With nearly two decades in communications, Malik spent six years at PepsiCo, most recently as Associate Director – Brand Communications for AMESA (Africa, Middle East, South Asia). She led corporate reputation, employer branding, and stakeholder engagement for PepsiCo India as Associate Director, starting as Senior Manager – Communications.
Earlier, Malik built 12+ years at Avian Media, rising to Group Business Director managing growth and mandates, and began at The PRactice as Account Supervisor. Her expertise spans integrated campaigns, crisis management, and leadership visibility for multinational brands.
The move bolsters Hero MotoCorp’s narrative amid EV push (Vida scooters), premium launches (Maverick), and FY26 growth targets. As rival Bajaj-Triumph and TVS-BMW intensify, Malik’s storytelling will amplify Hero’s 7M+ annual sales legacy.​
