EaseMyTrip secures contract under Punjab’s Mukh Mantri Tirth Yatra Yojana to manage and operate pilgrimage tours from Bathinda to Amritsar, facilitating over 200,000 devotees with seamless travel and lodging experience.
EaseMyTrip has received its first contract from the Punjab government to manage the pilgrimage travel under the Mukh Mantri Tirth Yatra Yojana. The Mukh Mantri Tirth Yatra Yojana aims to facilitate to the Golden Temple amritsar to over 2,00,000 devotees from Bathinda throughout the year. The Punjab government aims to promote spiritual tourism in the region as well as provide a safe and organized pilgrimage experience.
EaseMyTrip will provide for the planning, execution and management for the pilgrimage tours and will take care of EasyDarshan of the travel management. Punjab’s Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, through a ceremonial event, launched the project to show the government’s commitment for the maintenance of culture and inter-religious harmony.
This initiative marks a first for EaseMyTrip as it enters government contract pilgrim services. The experience the company has garnered in operational scale and travel solutioning for customers will help in the seamless spiritual experience for the pilgrim. The intended seamless experience will be the integration of technology for ease. This moves in the intended direction for EaseMyTrip which has aimed for service diversification and community travel services as its first travel integration in India.
