Sony Pictures Entertainment India has rolled out a high-impact, immersive outdoor and in-cinema campaign for Anaconda, turning Mumbai and Delhi into extensions of the Amazon jungle ahead of the film’s pan-India release.
Sony Pictures Entertainment India has launched a bold immersive campaign for the upcoming Anaconda film, transforming urban spaces into thrilling extensions of the movie’s wild universe. This nationwide push aligns perfectly with the Christmas release on December 25, 2025, in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions.
The campaign features high-impact outdoor activations, including a massive Anaconda installation at Bandstand, Bandra in Mumbai, claimed as the world’s longest, drawing crowds and social media buzz. In Delhi, striking billboards and takeovers created surreal contrasts between Amazon jungles and city streets, while Mumbai saw DOOH on Eastern Express Highway and Juhu Circle dominations.
Inside theaters, interactive hologram setups let audiences pose as if trapped by the giant snake, complemented by snake-themed stickers, custom jingles in washrooms, and ushers with shoulder snakes. These elements ensure the film’s creature-comedy vibe—starring Paul Rudd and Jack Black—lingers top-of-mind.
Anaconda secures over 1,000 screens pan-India despite competition, leveraging its 95-99 minute runtime for multiple daily shows. Directed by Tom Gormican, this meta-reboot reimagines the 1997 cult classic with humor and thrills
