 
        BIG FM names Sunil Kumaran CEO as it embarks on a multimedia evolution under Sapphire Media’s leadership in 2025
BIG FM, one of India’s leading radio networks now under the Sapphire Media, has appointed Sunil Kumaran as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). With more than 25 years of experience in media and communications, and over 14 years with BIG FM, Sunil steps into this top role after a longstanding tenure that saw him in positions such as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Brand & Digital Officer.
This leadership transition follows Sapphire Media’s recent acquisition of Reliance Broadcast Network through the insolvency process, marking a new chapter for BIG FM. Kumaran’s appointment signals the company’s ambition to not just lead in radio but to evolve into a comprehensive multimedia powerhouse.
