Shouvik Roy is returning to The Ogilvy Group as the Chief Executive Officer of Grey 82.5, effective December 1, 2026.
Roy returns to the network with three decades of experience across brand strategy, marketing transformation, and business development. He previously served as President and Head of Ogilvy Delhi, leading mandates for several top global brands.
Beyond leading large advertising networks, Roy co-founded the agency that helped build the iconic Paper Boat brand and later contributed to scaling G.O.A.T Brand Labs. His combination of entrepreneurial experience and agency leadership makes him well suited to drive Grey 82.5’s creative and business goals.
Until December 1, Ramamurthy and Roy will collaborate closely to ensure a seamless leadership handover across ongoing client relationships and agency operations.
Grey 82.5 operates as a distinct agency brand within The Ogilvy Group, maintaining its own creative identity while leveraging group-level capabilities.
Roy’s return reflects The Ogilvy Group’s focus on building agile, challenger-led agency brands capable of delivering business outcomes for modern advertisers.
