Starting September 1, 2025, Abraham (Abe) Thomas will be the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Radio City. He takes over for Ashit Kukian, who left the company on August 20, 2025.
Abe Thomas has been a leader in broadcasting, print, and digital media in India, China, and South Asia for more than 30 years. He was the CEO of Radio City (2015–2018) and BIG FM (Reliance Broadcast Network) before that. In addition to being a CEO, Thomas is also a co-founder of One Network Entertainment, a digital video company. He has also worked in high-level positions at RED FM, MTV Asia, Sony Entertainment Television, and Indian Express.
His return to Radio City means that the leadership will stay the same, since Kukian took over in 2018. Along with this change, Rajiv Shah has been named Chief Financial Officer, starting on August 20, 2025. He has a lot of experience in finance and working with investors.
With this leadership reshuffle at Music Broadcast Limited, the parent company of Radio City, the company aims to reinforce its growth strategy in India’s competitive radio and digital entertainment sector under the experienced stewardship of Abraham Thomas.
