HP has launched its ‘Lights of Change’ Diwali campaign, showcasing six Indian innovations that use technology to address challenges in education, healthcare and the environment. The campaign celebrates ideas that improve everyday lives and create opportunities for individuals and communities.

The main campaign film brings together solutions tackling agricultural waste, urban flooding and pollution in rivers and other water bodies. It also features assistive technologies and healthcare tools designed to make essential support more accessible.
Among the featured innovations is Annie, a self-learning Braille device that helps visually impaired children learn independently. The film also highlights an affordable bionic arm that offers greater independence to people with limb differences.
Another featured solution is CareMother, which makes fetal heartbeat monitoring more accessible to expectant mothers. Together, these stories show how practical inventions can respond to specific needs while creating a wider social impact.
The environmental stories explore finding new uses for agricultural waste, helping cities prepare for urban flooding and addressing water pollution. Rather than presenting innovation only as a technical achievement, the campaign connects each idea with the people and communities it serves.
Extending beyond the film, HP has introduced a dedicated digital platform featuring innovation stories from across India. This gives audiences another way to discover the ideas and understand their impact.
Through ‘Lights of Change’, HP links Diwali’s theme of illumination with human ingenuity. The campaign places Indian innovators at the centre of its festive storytelling, highlighting technology’s role in enabling learning, independence and positive change.
