New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has announced Hero VIDA as the official title sponsor for India’s upcoming 12-match tour of New Zealand. Hero VIDA is the emerging electric mobility brand from Hero MotoCorp. The bilateral series is scheduled to begin on October 22, 2026. It marks one of the biggest sporting events between the two cricketing nations.
The tour is also part of New Zealand’s ‘100 Years of Unity through Sport’ programme, celebrating a century of sporting ties between India and New Zealand. The tour features five T20 Internationals, five One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and two Test matches. The games will be played across major New Zealand venues, including Christchurch, Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton, and Mount Maunganui, running until early December 2026.
As the title sponsor, Hero VIDA will hold exclusive naming rights across all 12 matches of the series. The brand will receive extensive visibility through on-ground branding, stadium assets, digital integration, and global broadcast coverage. The high-profile cricket series gives Hero VIDA a major international platform to build consumer awareness for its electric two-wheeler portfolio and clean mobility solutions among millions of cricket fans in India and overseas.
New Zealand Cricket welcomed the partnership, noting that hosting Team India is the centerpiece of its international summer schedule. For Hero MotoCorp, the sponsorship aligns with its strategy of leveraging live sports to engage younger, environmentally conscious consumers. The 12-match series is expected to draw massive television and digital viewership across the subcontinent.
