 
        Srinivas Phatak named Unilever CFO, bringing over 25 years of financial leadership and strategy expertise to steer global growth and transformation.
Srinivas Phatak has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Unilever PLC with immediate effect. He was previously Deputy CFO and Group Controller. His promotion came after an exhaustive internal and external search. He has 25 years of experience at Unilever and its Indian subsidiary Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) which adds financial and strategic insight to the leadership.
Phatak joined the company in 1999 and has also been the CFO of HUL and the Vice President Finance South Asia. His background is certainly broad and all encompassing of financial controls, risk management, corporate finance, and even leadership. Unilever is trying to accelerate growth and expansion and that adds even more relevance to his current position after the promotion.
Phatak’s contribution to the company’s regional and global finance operations is appreciated and this adds another feather to his already rich cap of milestones achieved. He is also tasked with driving the financial strategy on top of the corporate governance which is pivotal for a company undergoing transformations in the FMCG world.
