
TBWA\India appoints Anirban Mozumdar as Chief Strategy Officer, bringing 28 years of expertise in brand strategy, disruption, and innovation.
TBWA\India has announced the appointment of Anirban Mozumdar as its new Chief Strategy Officer, bringing nearly three decades of extensive experience in branding, advertising, and communications. Mozumdar joins the agency with a 28-year career that encompasses a wide range of roles, including account management, strategic leadership, and entrepreneurship.
Before joining TBWA\India, Mozumdar held significant positions such as Chief Strategy Officer at Havas India, where he managed brand strategies for major clients like Reckitt and Burger King. He has also led notable campaigns during his time at Leo Burnett, such as amplifying Procter & Gamble’s Tide “Surprising Whiteness” campaign across the ASEAN region. Additionally, Mozumdar has entrepreneurial experience, having transformed chlorophyll into a full-service consultancy and worked with global companies including HCLTech and Intuit.
His broad expertise spans multiple sectors including consumer electronics, FMCG, industrial products, as well as B2C, B2B, and D2C markets. Mozumdar’s approach blends data-driven insights with creative thinking, aligning well with TBWA’s spirit of disruption and innovation. He will report directly to Govind Pandey, CEO of TBWA\India.
