Bollywood actor and entrepreneur Ranbir Kapoor has made a strategic investment in Prozo, India’s rapidly scaling tech-enabled supply chain platform, underscoring the growing appeal of backend infrastructure solutions in the country’s booming consumer sector. Kapoor’s backing comes on the heels of his prior investments in innovative ventures such as ARKS and Mumbai City FC, shedding light on his deepening interest in scalable, tech-driven business models.
Founded by Dr. Ashvini Jakhar, a former Naval doctor and McKinsey consultant, Prozo delivers a full-stack, integrated supply chain experience by unifying warehousing, freight, and fulfillment through a proprietary technology platform. Prozo’s suite of tools including ProWMS, ProShip, and its centralized Control Tower enables real-time supply chain visibility and SLA-driven operations for over 150 fast-growing brands such as The Minimalist, Neemans, Comet, Beardo, Snitch, and PhonePe. With 42 tech-powered warehouses spanning 2.2 million square feet and servicing over 24,000 pin codes across India, Prozo offers business clients advanced supply chain efficiency and reach.
Ranbir Kapoor’s investment is set to fuel Prozo’s ambitious expansion plans, which include entering new cities, boosting warehouse automation, advancing predictive analytics, and building custom solutions for MSMEs and quick-commerce players. In addition, the company is doubling down on its Same-Day and Next-Day Delivery capability to meet the surging demand for speed and reliability in fulfillment services.
Commenting on his involvement, Kapoor said, “Every brand today needs speed, consistency and adaptability. Prozo’s systems give brands that edge. I’ve seen how great execution builds trust and Prozo is enabling that behind the scenes.” Dr. Jakhar expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “Ranbir brings creative depth and strategic vision. His belief in reliable operations mirrors our ethos, and we’re excited to build with his support”.
With its pay-per-use model, robust technology stack, and an eye on future-ready logistics, Prozo as supported by Ranbir Kapoor aims to set new benchmarks for agility, reliability, and innovation in India’s competitive supply chain landscape.
