Starting on August 1, 2025, Manish Tiwary will officially take over as Managing Director and Chairman of Nestle India. Suresh Narayanan is leaving the company after 26 years, and this change comes after that. He will leave his job on July 31, 2025.
Tiwary has a lot of experience that will help him in his new job. He comes to Nestle India from Amazon India, where he was the Country Manager for the India Consumer Business. He was in charge of both consumer business and seller services at Amazon, where he helped change the way people in India shop. Before working at Amazon, Tiwary worked at Unilever for almost twenty years, gaining a lot of experience in the FMCG and retail industries.
The board of Nestle India recently approved his appointment as the new Chairman, which will start on the same day he takes over as MD. This change in leadership is a big deal for Nestle India because it brings in a new leader who is known for coming up with new ideas and growing businesses in the quickly changing Indian market.
The industry is keeping a close eye on this change because Tiwary has a lot of experience with digital-driven growth and consumer-focused strategies. These are strengths that will shape the next phase of Nestle India’s journey.
