Dentsu India has appointed Rohit Potphode Managing Partner for Sports, Gaming, Esports, and Live Experiences, to further strengthen the country’s Sports & Entertainment practice. With 20 years of experience and working on significant titles like IPL, ISL, Coke Studio, Lakmé Fashion Week, and Global e-Cricket Premier League, he certainly brings a lot on the table. He will outline strategies to integrate brands and audiences through inventive and culture-centric approaches involving sports, esports, live events, and other experiences, and will report to Dentsu Sports & Entertainment India head Yosuke Murai.
Potphode will direct sports consulting, sponsorships, IP creation, content, and fan experiences, as well as assist brands to advance from conventional sponsorships to a deeper cultural meaning and drive tangible business results.
