Dentsu and Omnicom will handle TVS Motor Company’s media mandate in India. Dentsu Media India has been appointed as the integrated media partner, while the digital media mandate will be split between dentsu and Omnicom’s Kinnect.
The restructured mandate covers media strategy, planning, and buying across television, digital, connected TV, retail media, and emerging platforms. It supports TVS Motor’s growing portfolio of internal combustion engine motorcycles and scooters, premium motorcycles, and electric vehicles.
TVS Motor said the new structure combines large-scale integrated media planning with focused, category-specific digital expertise. The company expects the partnership to improve consumer engagement across changing media habits and help build scale, agility, and innovation.
Dentsu won the consolidated media planning and buying business after a multi-stage pitch, replacing long-time incumbent Madison World. Industry estimates value the annual media account at about ₹200 crore, making it one of the largest automotive media mandates reviewed in India this year.
The digital portion is expected to be worth around ₹80 crore to ₹100 crore, with Kinnect securing a significant share of the work. Kinnect, part of Omnicom Media, will work alongside dentsu on digital media planning and buying for TVS Motor’s brands in India.
The appointment strengthens dentsu’s position in India’s automotive and mobility media market. For TVS Motor, the move reflects a shift toward a more unified media strategy across traditional channels and digital-first platforms.
