Suchita Salwan has been appointed as the Chief Customer Officer at Airtel, where she will lead growth and brand initiatives across the company’s B2C portfolio. Salwan expressed excitement about joining Airtel, highlighting her focus on impact, independence, and people – qualities she finds abundantly present at Airtel, which she says offers a scale few companies can match. She looks forward to building with a resilient and ambitious team.
Before joining Airtel, Salwan spent nearly three years at Nykaa, where she held senior leadership roles spanning content, brand marketing, and the Nykaa Luxe segment. Prior to Nykaa, she founded and led Little Black Book (LBB), a discovery-commerce platform launched in 2015, which was later acquired by Nykaa. LBB is known as a definitive lifestyle platform in India that connects consumers with expert recommendations and local brands.
Her earlier roles include marketing positions at BBC Entertainment and work in event operations during the Commonwealth Games with Wizcraft. She began her career with an internship at the United Nations. Salwan brings over 12 years of experience in entrepreneurship, marketing, operations, and building teams, making her a valuable addition to Airtel’s leadership as it continues to expand its B2C business.
