
Aashish Midha, with extensive global marketing and leadership experience, re-joins Hero MotoCorp as Head of Marketing. He will lead the company’s global branding, digital marketing, and customer experience initiatives, supporting Hero’s focus on electric vehicles and international expansion.
Aashish Midha has been named the new Head of Marketing at Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest maker of two-wheelers. Midha is going back to a place he knows well; he worked for Hero MotoCorp for almost 11 years earlier in his career.
Midha has a lot of experience working around the world and a great record in business leadership, marketing, and brand strategy. He was most recently the CEO and Managing Director of Zalora Philippines and Zalora Indonesia, where he was in charge of business transformation, growth, and customer engagement strategies across Southeast Asia. He worked at Zalora for almost six years, during which time he was the CEO of Zalora Philippines and the Revenue Director.
Before working at Zalora, Midha was the Director of Marketing at Myntra, one of India’s top online fashion stores. There, he played a key role in growing the brand and leading creative marketing campaigns that made Myntra a fashion destination for Indian shoppers.
Midha worked at Hero MotoCorp Ltd (formerly Hero Honda) from 2003 to 2018, which gave him a lot of knowledge about the two-wheeler industry. He was in charge of Digital Marketing, Corporate Brand, and Media, among other important jobs. He also worked on big strategic projects for the company’s brand architecture and digital transformation.
As the new Head of Marketing, Midha will be in charge of Hero MotoCorp’s global brand strategy, digital marketing transformation, and customer experience projects. The company is focussing more on electric vehicles, high-end products, and international markets.
People in the industry see his return as a strong sign that Hero MotoCorp is serious about bringing global best practices and a digital-first approach to its marketing strategy.
