Vodafone Idea Limited has appointed Sanjib Das as Vice President – Cluster Enterprise Head for Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. The move is part of the company’s effort to strengthen its enterprise business in the southern region. Das will lead the cluster’s enterprise sales and solutions teams. He will focus on growing Vodafone Idea’s footprint with large corporates, SMEs, and government accounts.
Das brings more than two decades of experience in the telecom and technology sectors. Before joining Vodafone Idea, he worked with leading telecom operators and enterprise solution providers. His background includes handling complex B2B deals, building partner ecosystems, and driving digital transformation projects for clients. This experience is expected to help Vodafone Idea expand its portfolio of cloud, connectivity, IoT, and security solutions in the cluster.
In his new role, Das will report into Vodafone Idea’s national enterprise leadership. He will work closely with regional circles to align sales, delivery, and customer success efforts. The company said his appointment will support its goal of deepening relationships with key enterprise customers in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. These states are among the fastest-growing markets for digital services and enterprise connectivity in India.
This appointment comes at a time when Vodafone Idea is pushing hard on its enterprise and digital businesses. The telco has been investing in network upgrades, 5G rollout, and new enterprise offerings. It has also been adding senior leaders across sales, partnerships, and digital units. With Das on board, Vodafone Idea aims to improve its win rate in large enterprise deals and offer more integrated solutions to business customers.
