Friday, September 4, 2026: Ugaoo has launched a new campaign featuring father-son duo Jackie Shroff and Tiger Shroff that pokes fun at plant parenting by turning Jackie’s well-known love for plants into a humorous family story. Titled “Tiger Aisa Kyun Hai?”, the film imagines Tiger’s fitness, backflips and quirky personality as the result of his childhood attempts to compete with his father’s “plant babies” for attention.brandequity.
The campaign builds on Jackie Shroff’s authentic, widely recognised passion for plants—he has been associated with Ugaoo for over a year and has often spoken about his “Ped Lagao Bhidu” initiative and personal plant collection. In the film, Tiger reflects on growing up surrounded by his father’s plants, joking that his distinctive traits were shaped by trying to stand out in a house where greenery often got more care than kids.brandequity.
Alongside the humour, the campaign addresses a common hesitation among aspiring plant parents: the fear that gardening is difficult, time-consuming or requires a green thumb. Ugaoo positions its plants, pots and care products as solutions that simplify plant parenting, making it accessible and enjoyable for modern consumers.
Siddhant Bhalinge, Founder & CEO of Ugaoo, said, “With this film, we wanted to bring that belief to life, using Jackie’s genuine and well-known love for plants as a starting point, with Tiger adding his own perspective to the story in a fun, natural way.” Jackie Shroff added, “Ugaoo and I have a natural synergy because plants have always been a big part of my life. It’s been over a year, and I’ve enjoyed being part of it. I get to talk about something I truly care about, be myself and see more people discover the joy of plant parenting.”
Conceptualised and produced by Kulfi Collective, with White Rivers Media as the digital media partner, the campaign runs across digital and social platforms. Through the father-son narrative, Ugaoo aims to strengthen its positioning as a destination for plant parents while showcasing how its product portfolio can make gardening more convenient and less intimidating.
