
Arwal Dhar has joined Signify as Head of Digital Marketing, taking charge of the company’s digital brand and performance marketing charter from its Gurugram office. The appointment comes as Signify, the global lighting and IoT technology company behind brands such as Philips Hue and Philips Lighting, continues to strengthen its digital marketing capabilities across consumer and professional segments.
Dhar joins Signify after nearly five years at Yubi, where she most recently served as Director of Brand Marketing. She announced her move on LinkedIn, describing it as a return to her digital marketing roots while bringing her experience in brand building to the new role. At Yubi, she held multiple roles across brand and product marketing, starting as Senior Manager, Brand and Product Marketing in November 2021, moving to Associate Director in October 2022 and then Director of Brand Marketing in April 2024.
In her most recent role, Dhar led brand marketing for Yubi across India, the US and Southeast Asia. During her tenure, she led the rebranding of CredAvenue to Yubi, worked on portfolio brand development, and spearheaded brand and category-building initiatives, including the launch of Yubi’s awareness campaign and the #LeverageIndia brand campaign.
Before Yubi, Dhar worked at McCormick & Company as Digital and E-commerce Marketing Manager for India and Southeast Asia, and served as Area Business Manager at Samsung Electronics. She began her digital marketing career at Essence, working on digital media campaigns for Google’s consumer marketing initiatives, with experience in brand and performance marketing across Google Search, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. Her professional journey started with a graduate trainee role in brand and employer branding at Nestlé.
At Signify, Dhar will focus on digital brand and performance marketing, helping the company scale its digital presence as it continues to invest in connected lighting, smart home solutions and professional lighting systems.
