
Krishma Solanki has been elevated to Senior Director at Publicis Groupe India, marking the next step in her long tenure with the holding company’s corporate communications function. Based in Mumbai, Solanki has been with Publicis Groupe since July 2020, most recently serving as Director – Corporate Communications, where she led internal and external communications for a wide set of agencies and practices.
In her previous role, Solanki managed corporate reputation and PR strategy for key Publicis Groupe entities in India, including Zenith, Starcom, Performics, Indigo Consulting and Digitas, as well as practices such as Publicis Global Delivery, Publicis Commerce and the group’s digital technology arm. Her responsibilities spanned high-level media planning and placements across print, digital and broadcast, proactive storytelling through press releases and newsletters, crisis communication, and social media strategy for the group’s agencies. She also played a central role in thought-leadership programmes, report launches and industry awards, helping position Publicis Groupe’s leadership and capabilities in the Indian market.
Before joining Publicis Groupe, Solanki built her career in corporate communications and PR at digital media and entertainment companies. At Culture Machine Media, she led communication strategies for owned YouTube channels such as Being Indian, Blush, VIVA and Put Chutney, managing PR across launch, pre-launch and post-launch phases of digital shows and strengthening affiliate and media relations. Earlier, at Moe’s Art, she handled brands including Zee Big Magic, BIG FM, ISHQ FM, ALT Balaji and Viu, where she trained and managed teams, built media networks and executed press events and campaigns to increase public awareness and engagement.
Solanki holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor in Mass Media, and has been recognised in industry lists such as AD Land’s Young Guns and Women Disruptor, reflecting her growing influence in the Indian PR and corporate communications landscape.
