ZEISS Vision Care India has taken its vision health message to the streets with a new outdoor campaign at Turner Road Junction in Bandra, Mumbai, featuring eight interconnected billboards that dominate one of the city’s busiest intersections. The activation marks a bold step for the German optics brand as it moves from a primarily B2B presence to a more visible consumer-facing role, encouraging people to prioritise regular eye examinations and proactive vision care.
The campaign leverages ZEISS’ 180-year legacy in optics to build trust around the importance of visual health at every stage of life. By placing the conversation in a high-footfall commuter zone, the brand aims to reach thousands of passers-by daily, turning a routine drive or walk into a nudge towards better eye-care habits. The Mumbai OOH push follows a Delhi Metro takeover launched earlier in July, extending the brand’s “Take Care of Your Vision and Visual Health” narrative across key Indian cities.
The campaign also ties into ZEISS’ broader global initiative to position itself as a consumer brand in vision care, building on platforms such as “Nobody Sees Like You” and recent digital and print efforts that drive traffic to its vision-care resources and authorised optician network. A parallel print feature in The Times of India reinforces the same message nationwide, using QR codes to guide readers to detailed information on visual health, screening importance and personalised lens solutions.
For ZEISS India, the Mumbai outdoor activation is as much about brand building as it is about behaviour change: shifting the perception of eye care from a reactive fix to a routine, preventive practice, while strengthening recall among urban, style-conscious consumers who value both performance and aesthetics in their eyewear
