Eveready has launched India’s first hybrid torch with dual power options, featuring Sonakshi Sinha’s ‘Nikita Roy’ as part of its #NeverOutOfLight campaign.
Eveready Industries has made a big change to portable lighting by releasing India’s first hybrid torch. The new torch is part of Eveready’s #NeverOutOfLight campaign and features Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha’s upcoming thriller Nikita Roy and The Book of Darkness. It combines old-fashioned power with modern features.
Speaking on the launch, Anirban Banerjee, CEO, Eveready Industries India Limited, said,
“Innovation is at the helm of all undertakings at Eveready. Over the years, this ideology has paved the way for us to consistently introduce unique and pioneering products that empower consumers. The latest offering from the house of Eveready reflects the brand’s legacy of innovation and trust, giving consumers uninterrupted lighting with modern convenience. Our Hybrid Torch, a new-age innovative solution, promises quality, convenience, and reliability to users while ensuring that they never run out of power. Going forward, Eveready will remain committed to delivering smarter, practical, and dependable solutions for consumers across Indian households.”
This new product is a dual-power solution, which means users can choose between charging it with USB Type-C or regular AA batteries. The hybrid torch is made to work even when the power goes out, when you’re outside, or in an emergency. Just flip a switch to turn it on.
The ad campaign delivers pulse-pounding moments where darkness and danger loom, yet Nikita Roy, thanks to her Eveready Hybrid Torch, never loses hope.
“Kali raat ho ya khauf ka pal, Nikita kabhi rukti nahi, kyunki uske saath hai naya Eveready Hybrid Torch. Pehla two-in-one torch. Recharge karo ya battery daalo. Ek switch aur power mode badal jaaye.”
The product was made with precision and durability in mind, so it works well. The body is made of ABS plastic, and it has a 1W front LED light and a 1W side LED light. It also has safety features like protection against overcharging and deep discharging. A Type-C fast charge feature adds to the utility-focused design, making it great for people who live in cities and people who live in the country. The torch takes 2.5 hours to fully charge and has a sliding switch that lets you switch between different lighting modes.
The torch was shown off with promotional material featuring Sonakshi Sinha as Nikita Roy, which played on the idea of light in the face of darkness. The integration connects the torch’s dual-power feature with the main character’s strength, which supports the campaign’s main message of never being out of light, emotionally or practically.
The hybrid torch is now available in red and green all over the country for a low price of ₹399. With this new product, Eveready is showing that it is still committed to coming up with new ideas and making things useful every day. This builds on the success of previous products like the Siren Torch.
