Zelio E‑Mobility Limited has formally appointed Divyanshu Agarwal as its Chief Executive Officer, with the role effective from April 15, 2026, as part of a broader leadership refresh following its public listing on the BSE SME segment. The company manufactures and sells electric two‑wheelers and electric three‑wheelers, with a focus on expanding its footprint beyond metros into tier‑2 and tier‑3 markets, and the appointment signals an intent to bring sharper growth‑driven and finance‑sensitive leadership to this phase of expansion.
Agarwal is a Chartered Accountant with a background that straddles finance, strategy, and cross‑functional business growth, having worked with major players in the fintech and consumer‑finance space. Most recently, he was associated with Navi Limited, where he headed the UPI business and was involved in driving business growth, building strategic partnerships, and supporting key initiatives such as the company’s DRHP process and private‑equity fundraising rounds. Earlier in his career, he trained at a large audit firm, gaining exposure to financial‑reporting and compliance frameworks for listed entities—a skill set that aligns well with Zelio’s need for robust governance and investor‑ready disclosures.
As CEO, Agarwal will oversee Zelio’s overall business strategy, operations, and investor‑relations function, working alongside the founder and Managing Director, Kunal Arya, who continues to hold the top‑line leadership responsibilities in the company. The CEO position had been vacant prior to his appointment, and his hiring fills a key gap in the senior‑management structure, especially as the firm seeks to leverage its public‑market profile to attract capital and partnerships.
Divyanshu Agarwal, CEO – Zelio E-Mobilitysaid, “Zelio is at a stage where growth needs to be backed by consistent execution and clarity in direction. The focus will be on strengthening the core, expanding reach in a measured way and building products that customers can rely on every day. The opportunity is significant, and the effort will be to build it with discipline”.
Kunal Arya, Managing Director – Zelio E-Mobility, said: “Divyanshu brings a strong understanding of both finance and business operations. He has seen how to build and scale in fast-moving environments. As we expand, the need is for sharper execution and long-term thinking, and he is well equipped to take that forward.”
