Friday, September 4, 2026: The EPIC Company, formerly known as IN10 Media Network, has announced the acquihire of The Dosa Studios. This is a GenAI-native storytelling studio, and this move is part of EPIC’s plan to expand its presence in generative AI-led content and storytelling.
As part of this deal, Dosa Studios’ co-founders Anwar Khan and Annanyaa Nautiyal will join EPIC AI Lab. Along with them, several key GenAI artists from the studio will also make the move. EPIC AI Lab is described as a co-creation space, where the company aims to combine human creativity with intelligent AI tools. This shows that EPIC is not just buying technology, but also bringing in people with real hands-on experience in this space.
The main goal behind this acquihire is to speed up EPIC Company’s GenAI initiatives across different storytelling formats. The company wants to add more scale and speed to its content slate. It also wants to grow its broader GenAI universe, which points to a bigger, long-term plan around AI-driven content creation.
Khan and Nautiyal have built their careers at a unique meeting point of design, storytelling, and machine intelligence. Their work combines creative direction with technical execution. This mix has helped them develop generative workflows and GenAI-assisted production methods, which are becoming more important in the media industry today. Their experience in blending art and technology makes them a strong fit for EPIC’s new AI-focused direction.
Following this transition, both co-founders will step into bigger leadership roles inside EPIC AI Lab. Annanyaa Nautiyal will join as Executive Vice President – Business Development, EPIC AI Lab. Anwar Khan will take on the role of Executive Vice President – GenAI Operations, EPIC AI Lab. These titles show that the two will not just continue their creative work, but also help shape how the lab grows and operates going forward.
This acquihire adds more weight to The EPIC Company’s overall content and media strategy. With EPIC AI Lab now bringing together creative talent, technology, and GenAI workflows, the company is aiming to build new content formats and immersive storytelling experiences. This reflects a wider trend in the media industry, where traditional content companies are increasingly turning to generative AI to speed up production and try new creative formats.
Aditya Pittie, Managing Director of The EPIC Company, is associated with this strategic move, according to reports. The rebranding from IN10 Media Network to The EPIC Company itself signals a shift in the company’s ambitions, moving from a more traditional media identity toward one that is closely tied to AI-powered content creation. By bringing in The Dosa Studios’ team and expertise, EPIC is positioning itself to compete in a media landscape where GenAI is playing a growing role in how stories are made and shared.
