Joydeep Saha has been appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of ManipalCigna Health Insurance Company Ltd. With over 20 years of experience in the insurance sector, especially in health and general insurance, Joydeep brings deep expertise in actuarial science, product development, reinsurance, analytics, and group underwriting. He holds the distinction of being a qualified actuary and has served in key leadership roles at ManipalCigna since 2019, as well as at other reputed insurance companies including Cigna TTK Health Insurance, Max Bupa, and Religare Health Insurance.
In his new role as MD & CEO, Joydeep Saha is tasked with steering ManipalCigna to become a future-ready, customer-centric health insurer by blending innovation with care. His vast experience and strategic vision are expected to strengthen the brand, drive business transformation, and enhance customer experience through technology adoption.
ManipalCigna’s management team includes other senior leaders across distribution, compliance, marketing, finance, technology, and human resources, all working under the guidance of Joydeep to achieve the company’s growth objectives.
