South Korean beauty company Amorepacific has introduced its skincare brand Mamonde to the Indian market through an exclusive partnership with Nykaa. The launch, which took place on August 15, 2026, strengthens the long-standing relationship between the two companies and expands Nykaa’s growing portfolio of Korean beauty brands.r
Mamonde is recognised for its flower-inspired skincare products, combining botanical ingredients with contemporary beauty science. The brand’s product development is supported by more than three decades of floral research and its proprietary Hyper-Flora™ technology, which focuses on using flower-derived actives in skincare formulations.
The India launch is aimed at younger consumers, particularly Gen Z shoppers and beauty enthusiasts who are increasingly seeking ingredient-focused products with clear functional benefits. By positioning Mamonde at accessible price points, Amorepacific is looking to make Korean skincare more approachable for a wider section of Indian consumers.
Nykaa will serve as Mamonde’s exclusive retail partner in India, giving the brand access to the platform’s online beauty marketplace and its wider consumer ecosystem. The partnership is expected to support product discovery, digital-led engagement and the expansion of K-beauty consumption across the country.
Mamonde’s entry adds another international brand to Amorepacific’s presence in India, which already includes names such as Innisfree and Laneige. For Nykaa, the launch further reinforces its position as a major destination for Korean skincare and premium beauty products.
The partnership comes as Indian beauty consumers show increasing interest in global skincare trends, botanical formulations and science-backed routines. With its flower-powered positioning and youth-focused approach, Mamonde is expected to compete in India’s expanding skincare market while bringing a distinct Korean beauty proposition to Nykaa’s customers.
