
Dr Arunkumar Chandrasekharan has taken charge as Head of Operations (DGM – Operations) at Yashoda Hospitals. The appointment marks a key addition to the hospital group’s leadership team. He will oversee day-to-day operations across Yashoda’s multi-location network. His role will focus on improving patient experience, streamlining workflows, and strengthening operational efficiency.
Dr Arunkumar brings more than two decades of experience in hospital administration and healthcare operations. He has worked in senior roles at leading multi-specialty hospitals in India. His expertise includes managing large clinical teams, optimising resource utilisation, and implementing quality and safety standards. He is also known for driving process improvements and digital initiatives in hospital settings. This background is expected to help Yashoda Hospitals enhance service delivery and operational performance.
In his new position, Dr Arunkumar will report to the group’s senior leadership. He will work closely with clinical, administrative, and support teams. His responsibilities will include capacity planning, bed management, patient flow, and coordination between departments. He will also lead projects related to automation, data-driven decision-making, and cost optimisation. The hospital said his appointment will support its goal of delivering high-quality care with faster turnaround times.
Yashoda Hospitals is one of the largest private hospital chains in South India. It operates major facilities in Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and other parts of Telangana.
