Ice cream brand Hocco has teamed up with Mirzapur: The Movie to launch a bold, larger-than-life OOH installation in Ahmedabad, turning the gritty visual language of the franchise into a street-level spectacle. Executed in collaboration with Coral Media, the campaign centres on Hocco’s limited-edition Bullet Ice Cream, a chocolate-coated, bullet-shaped treat inspired by the world of Mirzapur.
At the heart of the execution is an oversized gun mounted between two billboards, with Hocco’s Bullet Ice Cream featured alongside it. A revolving OOH panel adds a dynamic layer, creating the illusion of bullets being loaded into the gun as it rotates, effectively turning the product itself into a storytelling device. The installation translates the show’s iconic gun-and-ammunition imagery into a playful, edible format, while ensuring the brand and film remain tightly linked in the consumer’s mind.
The campaign arrives ahead of the theatrical release of Mirzapur: The Movie on 4 September 2026, as the franchise moves from OTT to big screen with Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Pankaj Tripathi and an expanded ensemble. Hocco’s Bullet Ice Cream, positioned as a limited-edition novelty, is being pushed through quick-commerce platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart, aiming to convert OOH impact into immediate trial and social chatter.
By staging the installation in Ahmedabad, a key consumption market for both the franchise and the brand, Hocco and Coral Media are betting on high-visibility OOH to spark conversations, photo ops and user-generated content. The work blends recognisable Mirzapur iconography with Hocco’s product innovation, making the Bullet Ice Cream not just a tie-in SKU but a physical extension of the film’s narrative on the streets.
