Star Health and Allied Insurance Co. Ltd has launched ‘We’ve Got Your Back’, an out-of-home campaign that transforms the usually overlooked reverse side of billboards into a visible expression of reassurance. Created in collaboration with independent creative agency Talented, the campaign presents health insurance as a dependable support system that remains present when customers need it most.
Rather than competing for attention on the front of traditional outdoor advertising, Star Health has chosen to use the back of billboards as the central creative canvas. The unusual placement reflects the campaign thought: meaningful protection does not always need to be loud or visible, but it should always be there.
Each execution combines the line ‘We’ve Got Your Back’ with a Star Health proof point. The messaging highlights the insurer’s reported operational track record, including settling one claim every eight seconds, serving customers through more than 16,000 network hospitals and settling over 1.6 crore claims.
The campaign has been rolled out across Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. The selected outdoor sites allow the reverse sides of billboards to be seen by passing motorists and pedestrians, turning normally unused media space into an unexpected brand experience.
The idea also offers a fresh contrast to the fear-led communication often associated with health insurance advertising. Instead of focusing primarily on medical uncertainty or financial anxiety, Star Health’s campaign centres on confidence, continuity and practical support.
Kotha Kartheek, Head – Brand & Digital, Star Health, said “Over the last 20 years, we’ve learned that trust is earned through consistent action. With a claim settled every eight seconds, more than ₹71,100 Crs settled, and over 1.6 crore claims settled, our track record reflects the support we’ve provided to millions of customers over the years. This campaign takes that thought and makes it visible in an unexpected way, using the back of the billboard as a reminder of the role we play in supporting customers every day.”
According to Talented’s creative and brand strategy team, the strength of the campaign lies in making the message and medium inseparable. The back of the billboard becomes more than an unconventional media position—it acts as a physical metaphor for the assurance the brand promises its policyholders.
With ‘We’ve Got Your Back’, Star Health demonstrates how a familiar OOH format can be reimagined through a simple strategic insight. By giving visibility to the space behind the message, the campaign turns dependable support into something consumers can see.
