Commerce enabler GoKwik has launched its first-ever brand campaign featuring boAt co-founder and Shark Tank India judge Aman Gupta, built around the simple idea that “speed wins”. The campaign uses exaggerated, deliberately slow situations – from endless customer-support hold music to a painfully long yoga meditation session – to highlight how even small delays in the buying journey cause customers to abandon online purchases.
The film turns Gupta’s well-known “Shark Tank” energy into a creative device: he doesn’t slow, and neither does GoKwik. The messaging is aimed at D2C and e-commerce founders, showing how friction in checkout, slow flows and poor experiences quietly eat into conversions and growth. Gupta said he admires how GoKwik co-founder and CEO Chirag Taneja thinks about e-commerce problems and has built the company with conviction, calling it a “deeply shared conviction” rather than just a celebrity endorsement.
GoKwik supports more than 15,000 brands, including Mamaearth, Levi’s, Rare Rabbit, Plix, boAt and Shoppers Stop, and has processed over 500 million orders from a shopper base of more than 200 million users. The campaign comes as the company also rolls out its AI-powered performance marketing platform, Kwik Ads, positioning itself as an all-in-one growth partner for digital-first brands.
Chirag Taneja, co-founder and CEO of GoKwik, said: “the association runs deeper than the campaign itself – “Aman doesn’t slow. Neither do we. He has built and backed companies at a pace that defines a generation of Indian entrepreneurship, and he understands this problem because he has lived it. So for us at GoKwik, this isn’t just a celebrity endorsement but a deeply shared conviction.”
Pre-launch buzz included a Twitter takeover where Aman Gupta himself played up the “Aap Bhi Bana Loge” founder spirit, reinforcing the campaign’s core message that founders can grow their businesses kwik-er with GoKwik. For GoKwik, this marks a shift from being a behind-the-scenes enabler to a front-facing brand in the Indian e-commerce ecosystem.
