Shriram Finance introduces Shri Aarambh Loans through dedicated campaign, offering tailored financing for truck drivers to acquire vehicles and kickstart businesses with flexible terms and quick approvals.
Shriram Finance has launched the Shri Aarambh Loans campaign, specifically crafted to empower truckers and fleet operators in India’s robust logistics sector. This initiative provides accessible financing for new and used commercial vehicles, addressing key barriers like high down payments and stringent collateral requirements that often sideline small entrepreneurs.
The campaign showcases simplified loan processes with doorstep documentation, rapid disbursals within 48 hours, and customized EMIs aligned to monthly cash flows from freight hauls. Tailored for first-time buyers and upgraders, Shri Aarambh offers tenures up to 60 months, insurance bundles, and fleet management support, targeting the 10 million-plus trucker community driving India’s $150 billion trucking industry.
A series of regional TV spots, radio jingles, and digital reels depict real-life trucker journeys—from aspiring drivers buying their first Tata or Ashok Leyland rig to established haulers scaling operations amid e-commerce booms. The narrative emphasizes Shriram’s 50-year legacy in CV financing, having disbursed over ₹3 lakh crore while maintaining low NPAs through relationship-based lending.
Aimed at tier-2 and tier-3 hubs like Nashik, Indore, and Coimbatore, the multi-channel rollout includes on-ground activation at dhaba networks and truck markets. Shriram Finance CEO YS Chakravarti highlighted bridging credit gaps for blue-collar hustlers fueling national supply chains, especially post-infra upgrades like Bharatmala.
Amid rising diesel costs and EV transitions, Shri Aarambh positions Shriram as the lifeline for truckers navigating economic pressures. With digital KYC and GPS-linked recovery safeguards, the campaign drives loan book growth while fostering financial inclusion, solidifying Shriram’s dominance in a consolidating NBFC space hungry for volume.
