Cars24 has launched a comprehensive brand identity refresh, evolving from its disruptive CARS24 all-caps logo to a more mature Cars24 sentence case design that signals trust and continuity. Founded in 2015 to disrupt India’s opaque used car market, the original bold styling served its high-urgency phase – now the company positions as a lifelong car ownership partner.
Central to the redesign is an open circular logo symbolizing ongoing journeys rather than closed transactions – cars change hands, needs evolve, value persists. Founder Vikram Chopra noted the shift mirrors business maturity: “When we started, being loud helped… This change reflects who we are today – calmer, more human, focused on earning trust over time.”
The refreshed palette swaps traditional blue for a brighter, younger blue conveying approachability without sacrificing credibility, developed over 1,200+ design hours for longevity. This aligns with Cars24’s expanded services in financing, insurance, scrappage, and mobility, targeting repeat customers across life stages.
Timed ahead of IPO plans, the rebrand reinforces “Better Drives, Better Lives” positioning as consumers demand ecosystem reliability over one-off deals. The simplified, adaptable system supports Cars24’s global ambitions while maintaining Indian market dominance in a consolidating sector.
