Rashmika Mandanna, a well-known Indian actress and role model for young people, has started her own business by launching her own fragrance line called Dear Diary. Dear Diary turns Rashmika’s private moments into shared experiences through scent. It is based on deeply personal memories and is made to smell like a diary.
The first collection of scents is based on important events in Rashmika’s life. National Crush is a tribute to the loving name her fans gave her, Irreplaceable is a reminder of her first tattoo and the journey to accepting herself, and Controversial is a symbol of strength and grace in the face of criticism. Rashmika’s heritage is honoured in the collection with Indian ingredients like pink lotus, jasmine, sugarcane, lychee, and passionfruit. These ingredients are mixed with modern global tastes.
The PCA Companies, which are known for helping beauty brands grow around the world, worked with Dear Diary to make it. The partnership made sure that Rashmika’s stories were carefully sourced, tested multiple times, and translated into scent in a real way. Crystal Wood, the PCA Companies’ CMO, talked about how honest the brand is and how every creation is based on the idea of “kindness before all.”
Rashmika is still very involved in the brand, overseeing everything from scent formulation to creative direction to make it honest and empowering. Rashmika said, “With Dear Diary, I wanted everyone to carry their stories, feel comforted and confident, and say what they wanted without feeling bad about it.”
You can only buy Dear Diary scents at deardiary.in. Prices start at INR 599 for 10ml and go up to INR 2,599 for 100ml. There is also a special Lollipop Set for INR 1,599. With this launch, Rashmika brings a personal, story-driven product to India’s perfume market, inviting fans to celebrate their memories and who they are through scent.
