Schbang has announced the appointment of Aditya Nagavekar as its new Head of Strategy, marking a significant addition to the agency’s senior leadership. With over a decade of experience in brand strategy and a rich history at Ogilvy India, Aditya brings deep insight, creativity, and a proven track record of success to his new role.
Aditya began his journey in marketing and strategy with a strong academic foundation from the Welingkar Institute of Management. His early fascination with branding, consumer behavior, and storytelling set the tone for a career rooted in insight-led communication and strategic excellence.
Aditya spent over six years at Ogilvy India in Mumbai, holding multiple roles within the strategic planning division. He steadily rose through the ranks, ultimately serving as Vice President – Strategic Planning. During this time, he helped shape marketing narratives for several high-profile brands and led impactful campaigns that resonated across markets.
Among his standout achievements at Ogilvy, Aditya played a pivotal role in the Savlon “Adding Health to Hands” campaign. The initiative was not only commercially successful—placing Savlon among the top three handwash brands in India—but it also earned a Gold Effie Award in the APAC region, reflecting its excellence in both strategy and execution.
In addition to Savlon, Aditya contributed to key campaigns in the finance and digital sectors. He was involved in the rebranding and user experience design for Investica, a mutual funds platform, among others. His ability to blend creative thinking with data and insight made him one of the most trusted strategic minds at Ogilvy.
