Voltas Beko has expanded Pradipta Roy’s responsibilities, appointing him Head of Marketing Operations. The move broadens his earlier mandate as Head of Brand Management and Digital Marketing, placing him in charge of a more integrated marketing function for the consumer-appliances brand.
In his new role, Roy will bring together brand strategy, retail marketing, below-the-line activity and digital performance. The focus will be on ensuring that consumer-facing campaigns translate effectively across channels, from brand communication and online discovery to retail visibility and purchase consideration.
Roy joined Voltas Beko in April 2025, when he took charge of brand management, product marketing and digital initiatives. During that period, his work centred on building brand equity, deepening customer engagement and strengthening the company’s market presence. His expanded role reflects the growing importance of linking brand investments with measurable commercial and retail outcomes.
Marketing operations has become increasingly significant in the highly competitive consumer durables category. Consumers today research products online, compare features and prices across platforms, seek reviews and visit physical stores before finalising a purchase. As a result, brands need coordinated communication across digital, retail, dealer networks and local activation programmes.
Roy’s new mandate will include overseeing marketing budgets, collaborating closely with the sales organisation and tracking the impact of campaigns. This will help Voltas Beko align its marketing efforts with business priorities while maintaining a consistent experience at multiple consumer touchpoints.
Before joining Voltas Beko, Roy spent more than seven years at Liebherr Appliances in a range of marketing and brand-management roles. His experience across integrated marketing and consumer engagement is expected to support Voltas Beko’s ongoing growth plans in the home appliances segment.
The elevation also comes amid wider leadership changes within the Voltas ecosystem, as the company sharpens its commercial and marketing capabilities. For Voltas Beko, the appointment signals a stronger emphasis on connecting long-term brand building with retail execution, targeted activation and digital effectiveness.
