Discover Dabur Red Toothpaste’s heartfelt Republic Day 2026 film ‘Desh Ke Bacche, Desh Ke Sacche Lal’, celebrating Rashtriya Bal Puraskar winners’ real-life bravery in saving lives through instinctive courage.
Dabur Red Toothpaste launched a poignant Republic Day 2026 digital film titled “Desh Ke Bacche, Desh Ke Sacche Lal” on January 23, spotlighting the raw courage of young Rashtriya Bal Puraskar recipients. The one-minute-38-second YouTube ad weaves real stories of children who acted heroically without hesitation, transforming ordinary moments into lifesaving feats.
Narrated in their own innocent voices, the film opens with Karina Thapa, who spotted smoke from a second-floor fire while descending from the third floor. Spotting a locked flat with a gas cylinder ablaze, she broke into a neighboring gallery and doused the flames with water, saving multiple lives. Saurabh Kumar shares his tale from a pondside stroll: hearing distress cries, he leaped in to rescue three drowning calves, prioritizing their survival over his own safety.
These unsung heroes explain bravery as an instinctive rush—ignoring personal risk to protect others, fueled by passion and resolve. “Bahadur kaise bante hain? Us time sirf yeh lagta hai ki logon ki jaan bachani hai,” they reflect, underscoring selfless valor.
The campaign culminates in their honor by the President, evoking national pride. Prashant Agarwal, Dabur India’s Oral Care Marketing Head, notes: “True courage emerges when values override instinct,” aligning with the brand’s ethos of compassion and responsibility. Released amid Republic Day fervor, it urges viewers to salute these “Desh ke Lal” via #DeshKeSaccheLal, redefining patriotism through youthful heroism. “Dabur Red Paste, Desh ka Lal.”
