Apurva Salian is the new Head of Growth Marketing (Commerce) at Tata Digital. This is a big step towards the company’s goal of growing its digital commerce presence. Salian will be in charge of leading growth marketing efforts in different commerce categories within the Tata Neu app in this role. These categories include food, electronics, clothes, health, travel, and hotels. His leadership should focus on using data-driven strategies and new digital technologies to get big results for the business.
Before this job, Salian was known for doing a great job as Swiggy’s Director of Growth & Digital Marketing. He was in charge of campaigns to get new users and keep them on Swiggy’s many lines of business, such as the main ones: Food delivery, Instamart, and Dineout. He has also worked as a senior marketer at Amazon, where he was in charge of performance marketing and building digital brands. He has also worked as an Account Strategist at Google and a Business Manager in Digital at GroupM.
Salian’s main job at Tata Digital will be to drive user growth across all commerce verticals on Tata Neu. This includes coming up with and putting into action plans for getting and keeping users through performance marketing, personalised campaigns, and strict analytics. He will also work with teams from different areas, like product, analytics, brand, and research, to make sure that Tata Neu’s growth marketing efforts are new and make a difference.
