Ogilvy has appointed Anoop Menon as President and Head of Social and Digital Transformation, bringing in a leader with deep experience across strategy, creative technology and platform-led marketing. Menon’s move is significant for an agency that is sharpening its focus on how social, digital and AI-driven work come together for modern brands.
Menon announced the role on LinkedIn, and his career path shows a rare mix of agency, platform and strategic leadership. Before joining Ogilvy, he co-founded Raven Creative Intelligence in January 2026, where he set out to build India’s first fully agentic social media creative agency.
His earlier experience includes a long stint at Meta from July 2023 to December 2025, where he served as Industry Lead – Agencies. In that role, he was responsible for more than 200 million USD in annual revenue, helped grow Meta’s creative product suite and managed relationships with major creative and media agencies in India.
Menon is also no stranger to Ogilvy. During an earlier engagement as Creative Agency Partner, he worked on a new planning model with Ogilvy APAC, built a mobile advertising filmmaking process, collaborated with global brands and co-authored marketing and creative playbooks for Meta. Campaigns he led during that period won at the Webbys, Effies and One Show.
He previously spent nearly six years at Ogilvy & Mather as Senior Vice President – Strategic Planning, where he led one of Ogilvy India’s largest account planning groups across major brands such as Vodafone, Sky and Fiat. His appointment now signals Ogilvy’s intent to deepen its social-first and transformation-led capabilities with a leader who understands both brand storytelling and platform dynamics.
