Omnichannel payment infrastructure platform airpay has launched its festive digital film, titled Merchant’s Festive Check List, spotlighting the unseen hustle of local retailers and shopkeepers during India’s peak Diwali shopping season.
Set against the bustling chaos of a packed retail store, the film depicts a merchant juggling inventory stocking, customer inquiries, staff delegation, and vendor coordination. When the narrator asks whether payment processing is also his responsibility, the shopkeeper delivers an emphatic “Nahi” (No). The humorous payoff anchors the campaign’s central proposition, Tyohaar Aapka. Zimmedari Humari (Your Festival. Our Responsibility), positioning digital payments as one less operational stress for retailers.
The festive campaign coincides with airpay marking its 14th year in the payment infrastructure sector, where it powers omnichannel transaction processing across online, mobile point-of-sale, and UPI touchpoints.
Commenting on the campaign, Kunal Jhunjhunwala, Founder of airpay, stated that For merchants, Diwali is one of the most important times of the year. There is excitement, opportunity and a tremendous amount of work that goes into making the season successful. Having worked with merchants for 14 years, we understand how important it is for them to have a payment partner they can rely on, especially when business is at its busiest. With this film, we wanted to celebrate the people behind the festive rush and remind them that while they take care of their customers and their business, they can count on airpay to take care of their payments. That is what ‘Tyohaar Aapka. Zimmedari Humari’ means to us.
With festive trade driving over Rs 5 lakh crore in nationwide consumer commerce, robust payment gateways are critical to prevent checkout failures and cart abandonments. The ad film has debuted on YouTube and is being amplified across digital channels, OTT streaming networks, and business social platforms.
