Affle has appointed Aswini Bommakanti as its new Marketing Director, adding an experienced B2B and technology marketing leader to its senior team. The appointment is expected to strengthen the company’s brand, communications and go-to-market initiatives as it expands its AI-led mobile advertising and consumer intelligence businesses.
Aswini joins Affle after serving as Vice President of Product Marketing at RateGain. She has also held the position of Head of Marketing at Arthmate and spent nearly three years as Business Marketing Manager at Meta. Before that, she worked with InMobi for almost four years, managing the brand and programmatic marketing vertical across India and the Asia-Pacific region.
Her professional experience covers product marketing, brand strategy, business marketing, digital advertising, customer insights and integrated communications. At InMobi, she worked on competitive positioning and value propositions for brand and agency clients, while also helping translate mobile advertising technologies into business opportunities for global original equipment manufacturers and telecom companies.
Aswini’s earlier career includes marketing and communications roles at Directi and Cognizant. At Cognizant, she worked on brand initiatives, content strategy, internal communications, recruitment marketing and large-scale corporate programmes. She holds an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the Indian School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from Osmania University.
At Affle, her mandate is likely to cover the development and execution of marketing strategies across a technology-led advertising ecosystem. Affle describes itself as a global company that combines proprietary data, audience insights and artificial intelligence to help advertisers improve targeting, engagement and return on investment.
The appointment comes as adtech companies increasingly need to communicate the value of data, automation and AI in clear business terms. Bommakanti’s blend of product marketing, media technology and B2B brand experience positions her to help Affle deepen market visibility, strengthen stakeholder engagement and support its next phase of growth.
