INNOCEAN India has appointed Ruchi Mishra as Vice President to lead its newly established Bengaluru office and drive the agency’s expansion across South India. The appointment is part of the marketing and communications network’s plans to strengthen its regional presence and develop Bengaluru into a full-fledged strategic hub.
Based in Bengaluru, Mishra will focus on building the agency’s South India business, developing new client partnerships, and expanding INNOCEAN India’s integrated marketing capabilities. She will report to Amitabh Sreedharan, Executive Vice President – Growth, and Santosh Kumar, Chief Operating Officer, INNOCEAN Worldwide India.
Her mandate includes creating a new-business pipeline across the region, supporting work for Hyundai and Kia, and building stronger relationships with clients across sectors. She will also work on communications, AI-led content, brand strategy, and business solutions as the agency expands its regional offering.
Mishra brings around two decades of experience across business leadership, marketing, brand strategy, communications, consulting, and growth. Before joining INNOCEAN India, she worked as a Brand Marketing Consultant at SuperChill Studios and served as Regional Brand and Marketing Lead at Original Advertising Company in Singapore.
Her previous experience also includes roles at Openhouse, Lowe Lintas, and other organisations, where she worked across FMCG marketing, retail, strategic planning, campaign development, market expansion, client relationships, and integrated brand programmes.
The appointment comes as agencies increasingly look beyond traditional metropolitan hubs to build regional capabilities and access specialised talent. Bengaluru’s strong technology, startup, and innovation ecosystem makes it an important market for agencies working across digital transformation, AI, technology, and modern consumer experiences.
For INNOCEAN India, the new office is intended to be more than a satellite operation. The agency plans to establish Bengaluru as a strategic centre capable of serving clients, developing new business, and supporting integrated work across South India.
Ruchi Mishra, VP – INNOCEAN said “South India isn’t a market waiting to be discovered, it’s already moving, often faster than the communications industry serving it. I’m excited to build a genuine hub here for INNOCEAN, one that starts with a business’s real problem and brings together whatever combination of strategy, content, media, and AI-led capability actually solves it.”
Mishra’s appointment is expected to combine local market understanding with broader experience in brand building, communications, and business growth. Her leadership will play a key role in shaping INNOCEAN India’s regional strategy and strengthening the agency’s presence in one of the country’s most dynamic business markets.
