Nykaa has appointed former Swiggy Instamart chief operating officer Ankit Jain to lead its quick-commerce vertical, Nykaa Now. The move signals the beauty and fashion retailer’s intent to scale up its 30–60 minute delivery offering across key demand hubs in India.
Jain brings over two decades of experience in supply chain, logistics and operations, having previously worked with Hindustan Unilever, Flipkart and Swiggy Instamart. At Instamart, he oversaw high-velocity delivery networks and rapid-commerce operations, experience that Nykaa now wants to leverage as it deepens its presence in faster fulfilment.
At Nykaa, Jain will head Nykaa Now as business lead, overseeing expansion, fulfilment infrastructure, inventory planning and technology-led logistics for quick deliveries of beauty and personal care products. The company has stated that it aims to take the 30-minute delivery service to high-demand pockets nationwide by FY30, making quick commerce a larger part of its overall growth strategy.
With competition intensifying in India’s quick-commerce space, this appointment underlines Nykaa’s ambition to build a differentiated fulfilment ecosystem that can combine curated beauty assortment with near-instant delivery.
