Monks has expanded its Asia-Pacific leadership team with the appointment of Bharti Agrawal as CFO for Marketing Services, a move that signals the company’s continued focus on regional scale and financial strength. Based in Singapore, Agrawal will work across APAC markets and report to Jordi Covas, Global CFO for Marketing Services, as Monks sharpens its structure in one of the world’s fastest-growing marketing regions.
Her appointment is significant because APAC remains a complex and opportunity-rich market for integrated marketing, data and technology services. Monks is expected to rely on her to improve financial planning, governance and operating efficiency while supporting long-term expansion across diverse regional markets. In a business where creative, media and tech services increasingly intersect, stronger finance leadership can play a critical role in profitability and scale.
Before joining Monks, Agrawal served as CFO for Southeast Asia at dentsu International. In that role, she led finance across six markets and managed a seven-member direct team, handling planning, performance tracking, forecasting and transformation initiatives in a multi-country structure. That kind of cross-market experience is particularly valuable in APAC, where agency groups must navigate different market sizes, currencies and business maturity levels.
Earlier in her career, Agrawal worked with KPMG in Brazil and the UK in transaction services and mergers and acquisitions, advising clients on deals, due diligence and capital market activity. That background gives her a blend of operational finance and strategic transaction insight, which could prove useful as Monks continues to evolve its regional business model.
