Sparkonomy Launches Open Creator Graph for AI Consent

Sparkonomy has launched the Open Creator Graph, a free, public identity and consent registry designed to give digital creators control over how artificial intelligence systems and search engines use their name, image, likeness, voice and creative identity.
Founded by former Google, YouTube and Jellysmack executives, Sparkonomy aims to bridge the gap between rapidly expanding generative AI technologies and individual creator rights. The platform enables creators across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and X to claim a verified Creator Record without requiring minimum follower thresholds.
Through the Open Creator Graph, creators can define granular usage permissions across three primary levels: Allowed, Conditional, and Prohibited. The Conditional setting permits AI systems to index or depict creators factually while requiring explicit licensing and clearance for generative synthesis, deepfakes, or voice cloning.
To ensure accessibility for automated AI crawlers, search engines, and Large Language Models, all records are published in human-readable HTML as well as machine-readable data formats, including JSON-LD, XML, plaintext, and TDMRep. Furthermore, each claimed record is paired with a digitally signed consent certificate and timestamped on a public log to provide tamper-evident verification.
At launch, Sparkonomy has made over one million initial creator records available to be searched, claimed, or updated globally.
Guneet Singh, Co-founder of Sparkonomy, highlighted that while AI technology operates at machine speed, identity consent has remained slow and fragmented. The platform aims to bridge this divide by providing standardized legal and technical rails for creators globally.
